The Pavilion - Small Dogs

The Pavilion is our special small dog facility. It is a double red brick building, with pine lined ceiling. It is fully tiled with under floor heating and has automatic roller doors that fully enclose our small dogs at night to provide a homely environment.
Our play areas are located at the front of the building. Playgrounds have been designed for fun; ramps, rock tunnels and grassy areas are sure to delight the most adventurous guest. Inspection is sure to please.
We provide all of the bedding your dog will require, which is laundered on a daily basis, for this reason we discourage owners bringing beds from home. You are encouraged to send along your dogs coat/jacket in the winter months. We have a reasonably priced range of coats and jackets available here for purchase.

We also have toys which we allow the dogs to enjoy, so please do not bring any from home as they could get misplaced or damaged.

Code of Practice for Victorian Boarding Kennels states "only two dogs may share a pen or play yard at any given time", so rest assured your pet will have only one other friend. With written permission from owners three pets from the one family would be allowed to share. With over twenty years experience we have found at Cottage Kennels that most of our Canine guests prefer to have a companion while boarding, we always ensure that companions are totally compatible in age, size and temperament, however we do offer private accommodation for those dogs and owners who would prefer this option. However, this will incur a higher fee, see fees page for details.

Lauren and Jo-Anna both manage the Pavilion. Lauren has completed Cerfiticate III in Animal Companion Services and has been a team member since 2008. Lauren has a brilliant work ethic and is extremely thorough when caring for Pavilion guests. Jo-Anna commenced working at Cottage Kennels in 2010 and has more than five years of full time experience caring for dogs and cats. Jo-Anna is extremely compassionate and we are very pleased to have her on board.

Boarding your pet is the best alternative care you can choose in your absence. The selection of this temporary home is an important decision. Cottage Kennels offers the concerned pet owner a "Total Concept" facility, providing each pet, at any stage of life, with an environment that greatly exceeds basic necessities. Including:
